In accordance with the requirements of MLC-2006 and STCW 2010 Convention Seafarer Medical Certificate will be issued.

1. Certificate will have one Serial no and QR Code for verification as well as it will be uploaded in this website within 03 days and seafarer fitness report will be updated on daily basis.

2. Pathological and other medical examination documents will be preserved for two years for verification purpose as per DG Shipping guidelines. Every 06 months, a complete list of seafarer’s medical fitness certificate have been issued to be sent the Department of Shipping.

3. The period of validity of the medical certificate will remain in force for a maximum period of 02 years from the date on which it is issued, unless the seafarer is under the age of 18 years, in which case the maximum period of validity is one year.

4. Medical certificates which expire during the voyage, will continue to be in force. He/ She must obtain new Medical Certificate from next port as prescribed by company from recognized medical practitioner, provided that the period does not exceed (03) three months.
